Code of Ethics for members of Root Locus, Inc.
We, the members of
Root Locus, Inc., in recognition of the importance of our technologies and services we provide and in accepting a personal obligation to our profession and products, do hereby commit ourselves to the highest ethical and professional conduct and agree:
- to be honest and realistic in stating claims or estimates based on available data;
- to protect our customers private data and to maintain highest possible level of confidentialily;
- to improve the understanding of our technology, its appropriate applications, and potential consequences;
- to seek, accept, and offer honest criticism of technical work, to acknowledge and correct errors, and to credit properly the contributions of others;
- to use only legally obtained software packages, libraries, frameworks and tools, giving preference to open source products, purchasing commersial products only if the open source analogue does not exist or is not available at the time;
- to assist colleagues and co-workers in their professional development and to support them in following this code of ethics.
