The
Root Locus, Inc. Advisory Board is a workgroup of six to twelve people gathered to share their information management industry and technology expertise and their business and investor connections.
The first Board is concentrated with people who can provide technical insight about
Root Locus, Inc. products and services, as well as business veterans who can answer questions about running a young company.
In exchange for equity in the company, we expect about four hours a month of their time. Directors will bring in specific advisers from the advisory group for task-oriented discussions as needed.
When
Root Locus, Inc. establishes relations with business investors, a Board of Directors will also be created, in addition to the existing Advisory Boards.
The Board will start out as "working" governing body where members focus on day-to-day matters in addition to strategic matters. As the company matures, the Board will evolve to "policy" body where members focus mostly on strategic matters. Eventually, the Board will become a large, institutionalized entity with executive committees and many members, some of which are associated with company funders and investors.
